Pure Lotus Wellness Retreat opened in August of 2019, but the owner Carrie-Leigh Stockwell has been providing her Signature Services since 2012. The journey began in Kingston, when she learned Reiki to help support her through PTSD, resulting from Childhood Sexual Assault. Learning Reiki inspired her to help others.

Moving to Kemptville, Pure Lotus Wellness Centre was born. Always a home-based business, Carrie-Leigh began a passion for traditional Ayurvedic teachings and body work. In 2018, her clients inspired her to open a retreat, a place where they could come for treatments, but find solitude and healing. The foundation of Pure Lotus Wellness Retreat is a spiritual nature day retreat, where people can feel safe.

Carrie-Leigh's other interests are reading, writing, hiking, kayaking, road trips, pets & animals, and teaching.
