I have always wanted to help people. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a nurse. I did go to Nurses College in 1976, but unfortunately was unable to finish it.
Years passed, I got married, had children, and time moved on. In 1998 I became interested in Alternative Health and became Certified in Reflexology from the Ontario College of Reflexology. I continued to learn over the years. I became certified in Relaxation Swedish Massage, both Full Body Massage and Chair Massage from Relax to the Max in 2000. I am certified in 2nd degree Reiki, and Hypnotherapy from the Ontario Hypnosis Center in Toronto in 2002.
I was a Personal Support Worker at Brockville General Hospital for 13 years, until I retired from there in 2020. Which brings us to the present and opening Marie’s Magic Touch.
